We have an exciting opportunity for five exceptional Casual Catering Assistants to join our team within our Nelson Airport Operations on an as and when required basis.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

In this position you will be responsible for;

  • Ensuring our highly engaging service culture is translated into outstanding "surprise and delight" moments for our valued customers by providing warm and professional customer service and anticipating/catering to the every need of our guests.
  • Delivering a professional customer service, providing warm, friendly and welcoming ambiance for our customers
  • Basic food preparation and presentation
  • Stock control
  • Assisting and maintaining general cleaning and food hygiene duties.


He kōrero mōu / About you:

  • Be hard working, reliable and flexible in your ability to work
  • Having a friendly, outgoing personality
  • Have excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Have experience working in a similar position within a 5-star environment
  • Hold food safety Unit Standards 167 and 168
  • Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate a passion for people, customer service and quality
