Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Locum Dentist to join our team in the picturesque town of Kerikeri. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped dental practice with cutting-edge technology and a team committed to providing outstanding patient care. The role offers flexibility, with the option to work 3-4 days per week during the months of September and October 2024.

We offer a full range of treatments, including Orthodontics and Implants, and our practice provides:

  • 3 CEREC milling machines – for one day crown and bridges, we can mill a 4 unit bridge at the top and 6 unit bridge at the bottom
  • In-house designer specialising in anterior crowns and all bridges – we hardly ever use labs
  • 4 scanners, 2 furnaces
  • low dose ICAT X-Ray (CBCT) machine on site.
  • 3D Printers for retainers, night splints etc

Qualifications
We are looking for the following attributes:

  • Proficiency in a wide range of dental services to meet the needs of our diverse patient base
  • The ability to confidently discuss treatment plans with patients, ensuring they understand and feel comfortable
  • Strong communication skills and approachability
  • The ability to work harmoniously as part of a close team


To be successful in the role you will need to hold registration with the New Zealand Dental Council (NZDA) as well as a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
