Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your ability to understand and adapt to nuances will be highly valued. You'll be the primary point of contact for customers, reflecting their needs accurately and communicating effectively with the internal team. This role is based in Porirua, Wellington.

What you'll do:

As a Customer Consultant, you will be at the forefront of customer interaction. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised as you become the primary inbound/outbound point of contact for customers. You will reflect customer information accurately in Click Up and communicate effectively with the internal team. Your organisational skills will shine as you cover admin tasks and make site measure pre-booking calls weekly. Your role will extend to sending delivery and deposit texts via an automated system and creating job cards/work orders when required. Working closely with the operations manager, you will ensure good cohesion throughout the operation.

• Communicate directly with customers via phone, email, text etc.
• Reflect information from customers accurately in Click Up
• Communicate effectively with the internal team
• Cover admin tasks where required
• Make site measure pre-booking calls weekly
• Communicate Late Addition site measure requests
• Create remake tasks within Click Up
• Send delivery and deposit texts via automated system
• Create handrail job cards / work orders when required
• Work closely with the operations manager to ensure good cohesion throughout the operation

The ideal candidate for this Customer Consultant position brings a wealth of skills to the table. Your organisational abilities allow you to complete tasks effectively in a timely manner. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills are complemented by your polite and well-spoken phone manner. As a practical thinker, you can see the implications of communication and understand the actions required. Your willingness to learn, adapt, and understand nuance sets you apart. While prior experience in customer service for a manufacturing or trades company is preferred, it's not essential.

• Well organised - ability to effectively complete tasks in a timely way
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Good phone manner - polite and well spoken
• Practical / logical thinker - ability to see implications of communication and understand actions required
• Willingness to learn, adapt and understand nuance
• Prior experience in customer service for manufacturing or trades company (preferred)
