Job Description
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our accommodation team!
In this role you will provide outstanding customer service. You will be based at a busy reception area and provide operational support to the wider accommodation team. This role reports to the Resident Manager | Poutaki Wharenoho, and the Administrator | Kaiwhakahaere also works closely with other accommodation staff, university services and external contractors. In this role you are the "face of accommodation" for students, visitors and key stakeholders. Interacting with and supporting students is an essential component of the role.
This role will support Carlaw Park Student Village. This is a large and diverse community portfolio and the role would suit an experienced administrator with great communication skills, who is customer service and process improvement focused.
Other responsibilities include:
- Supporting the smooth and safe running of facilities and assets;
- Financial coordination of the residences (debt management, purchasing, accounts payable)
- Delivery of front of house processes and reception services
- The ability to work in a team is essential, as is the capacity to work independently and contribute to the administrative experience of the students living in Accommodation.

The salary range for this role is $50,700 - $63,900 per annum depending on skills and experience.

This role would suit an experienced administrator with great communication skills, who is customer service and process improvement focused.
Essential:
- Tertiary qualification.
- Minimum three years’ experience in an administration role.
- Excellent Office Skills.
Preferred:
- Previous tertiary work experience.
- StarRez and CRM systems
