We are currently on the lookout for experienced and enthusiastic Chefs to join us at Victoria University in Wellington. This position is a Permanent Part Time role with a total of 20 hours per week. We offer flexible working hours and conditions to suite your lifestyle! Sociable hours and a fun workplace are waiting for you!

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

In this position you will be responsible for preparing, cooking and serving good quality food for our residents. You will also be assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

If you're our ideal candidate, you will:

• At least have 2 to 3 years experience as a Chef;
• NZQA Level 4 Cookery or equivalent would be an advantage.
• Be hard working, reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Have excellent understanding of all hygiene, health and food safety practices in a food environment
• Have excellent communication skills
• Preferably hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 & 168)
• Have the ability to work independently and confidently, but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
