About the role:
Are you passionate about nature and customer service? Join a thriving plant nursery where you’ll combine customer care with hands-on stock support. This is a fantastic seasonal opportunity, running from Tuesday 29th April to Friday 26th September 2025 — two positions available!
What you’ll do:
- Provide exceptional customer service, both in-person and over the phone.
- Assist with plant stock control, ensuring accurate records and organisation.
- Support daily nursery operations, including physical tasks outdoors.
- Manage priorities, keeping tasks organised and running smoothly.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a welcoming, efficient environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong communication and customer service skills – previous retail experience essential.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and stock control systems.
- Full, current driver’s licence required.
What you’ll need:
- Wet weather gear (trousers and rain jacket).
- Steel toe-capped boots and work gloves.
- Plain, dark trousers and thermal clothing if preferred.
