Job Description
About the Role
We’re a group of friends in high-growth businesses wanting to step up our online content and storytelling across a range of service businesses.
In this role you’ll work with a diverse range of people, including our managing directors, Teams, clients and professionals in our network. You’ll collaborate on ideas, helping us create high-quality content to share our stories and grow our brands.
This is a unique role working with a range of different businesses, with the chance to build your portfolio while gaining experience across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and produce engaging videos and stunning photographs for our portfolio of businesses
- Cover events, on-site work, and “day in the life of” content
- Shoot video for podcasts, You Tube, website and social media
- Work closely with our directors to understand their vision and deliver creative, fun solutions
- Edit videos and photos to professional standards, ensuring polished, ready-to-publish content
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, maintaining high-quality outputs
- Assist us with creative concepts to bring ideas to life
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in both videography and photography (a portfolio and working independently is essential but you don’t have to have years in the industry, we anticipate this could be a great role for someone in their last few years of study)
- Solid editing skills in software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, or Photoshop and ideally ability to edit for social media
- A creative eye for detail and storytelling and the ability to do things a bit differently while having fun
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across a range of our stakeholders
- Ability to work independently to deadline and manage time effectively
- Must be located in the Waikato, New Zealand, and have your own transport – there will be plenty of travel involved
Why Join Us?
- Work on exciting projects with a variety of businesses
- Build your portfolio and expand your skills
- Be part of a supportive and creative team that values innovation, growth and fun
- Enjoy flexibility and variety in your work – there will be some “on the job” time bound work but majority is flexible around family and lifestyle
- Growth is possible for the right person
Ready to Create?
This role is dynamic and may pivot depending on outcomes. Our ideal person will be flexible, fun, energetic and have a great attitude to learning and growth.
This is a role working independently so you need to be confident, but we have offices across the Waikato where you can join in as part of our Teams as you like. If this sounds like your next opportunity, we’d love to see your portfolio and hear about your experience.
Send a one-page CV, a link to your portfolio or recent work, and a 1 minute video telling us why you’re the perfect fit for this role (no points for editing on this, we want to hear about you and what you’re wanting to achieve in the coming years!)
