Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies using AutoCAD Inventor.
• Collaborate with colleagues in manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Create detailed drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and specifications for production.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical support during the manufacturing process.
• Utilise engineering principles to optimize designs for cost, performance, and quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• NZ Citizenship or NZ Residency
• Proven experience in sheet metal design, particularly using AutoCAD Inventor.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
