About the Role

We’re seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Manager to join our site management team and lead our maintenance team and function at our new manufacturing facility in Tauriko. This is a challenging but exciting role where you will play a crucial role in ensuring reliability, optimising plant uptime and plant performance to ensure we are meeting targets and achieving operational excellence whilst not compromising on safety. Your key responsibilities in this role will include:

Health and Safety: Promote and uphold a strong culture of safety, ensure compliance with regulations and conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
Leadership: Lead and develop the capabilities and capacities of our people to ensure business delivers reliable and targeted throughput whilst exemplifying our values to ensure high performance, motivation and collaboration.
Technical Expertise: Provide expert advice in the evaluation of maintenance and engineering data, develop and implement strategic plans for preventative maintenance, maintenance planning and troubleshoot mechanical issues to drive operational efficiency.
Budget Management: Monitor and control maintenance expenditures within budgetary constraints and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities and prepare comprehensive reports on performance metrics for management evaluation.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in a maintenance or engineering leadership role within a continuous process manufacturing environment. You’ll also need:

A degree or technical certification in Engineering, Maintenance or related field.
10+ years’ experience in a heavy industrial maintenance environment.
Able to develop and execute plans to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Second-to-none technical abilities with deep knowledge of engineering and mechanical concepts.
Excellent communication, problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
