About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced or aspiring Facility Manager to support the operations of the business. Radius Baycare is approximately a 45-bed facility that provides rest home, private hospital, palliative and young disabled care. The purpose of this position is to lead the facility in all aspects including clinical safety, operations, relationship management and people management. We are looking for someone that is driven to succeed, is able to make a quick change and puts the resident at the center of what they do.
Radius Baycare is located in a tranquil, rural park setting at Haruru Falls, just a few minutes’ drive from Paihia in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Rest home, private hospital, palliative, and young disabled care are offered by our caring staff, who provide a lively social atmosphere where family and friends are welcome to visit at any time. Our team prides itself on ensuring our residents have every opportunity to continue their individual hobbies and interests.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the successful applicant needs to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Management experience in an aged care facility or another healthcare setting
- Ability to foster positive relationships with residents, family members, and employees
- Clinical background is preferred but not essential
- Experience in audit management and ability to ensure that the facility is compliance-focused
- Strong networks with the local community and key stakeholders
- Staff management experience, including the management of rosters
