Job Title: CAD Designer & Estimator
Location: Christchurch
Reports to: Factory Manager

About the Role:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled CAD Designer & Estimator to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with both current and prospective clients to bring their ideas to life by creating detailed plans and drawings that can be transformed into high-quality, manufactured products. You will play a key role in sourcing materials, assisting with pricing, and supporting the manufacturing team to ensure products are delivered on time and to specification.

YOU WILL NEED:

• Proficient in SolidWorks (or similar CAD programs) with the ability to produce detailed CAD drawings.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain complex drawings.
• Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to problem-solve and think outside the box to find innovative solutions.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to go the extra mile to meet client requirements.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
