Job Description
Our client are a respected international company and market leader providing marine propulsion systems to high profile clients. They export 98% of production to key markets including: vessels for the military, homeland security, search and rescue, fast ferry, oil, gas and renewable energy sectors.
The role of Spray Painter involves the full process of painting from product/equipment preparation to completion including system maintenance?to international requirements.
Skills required:
- Working with an electrostatic spray gun system to automotive and aircraft industry standards.
- Competent in the use of a hot tunnel/bake cycle curing and drying buffer process.
- Experienced in all facets of paint preparations, adhesion testing.
- Able to paint in a precise and consistent manner to pre-determined thicknesses.
- Inspection and defect recognition.
- Trade Qualifications are advantageous but not required.
