OneStaff New Plymouth is the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to a number of industrial based clients in New Plymouth.

Founded in 1994, our client has grown exponentially to become the leaders in the hydraulic market here in Taranaki. Made up of a team of 14 staff all who contribute to the technical knowledge and experience to repair, maintain, design, install and start up hydraulic applications, in their generous state-of-the art, fully equipped workshop.

We are looking for a Parts / Stock Controller to join our clients team on a full-time permanent basis, located locally here in New Plymouth.

Duties will include but aren’t limited to;

• Open and check freight. Notify relevant people of stock arrival.
• Accurate input of packing slips – parts onto jobs. Efficient and accurate processing of supplier invoices.
• Timely and accurate stock transfer to stock locations
• Pick and despatch orders in a timely manner.
• Accurate stock control
• Order and maintain stock levels, checking discrepancies in stock levels on a regular basis
• Co-ordinate rolling stock takes
• Front office support/backup
• Housekeeping – organisation of parts area
• Accurate stock ordering and order entry.
• Liaise with HFC Auckland – re stock shortfalls/requirements/back orders etc
• Maintaining filing systems

Standard hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 08.00am to 04.30pm with every second Saturday Morning required. The hourly rate will be dependent on your experience. If you have a background in automotive or engineering this will be an advantage.
