We currently have opportunities for a Class 2 and a Class 5 Car Transporter Driver to join our team, based in New Lynn.

You'll be responsible for driving a car transporter to complete car deliveries, strapping and securing loads, completing log book and truck checks, and operating our own POD system set up on a tablet. You'll be assigned your own truck to look after.

Class 2 role:

You'll be completing local deliveries in a 3-car transporter and also covering deliveries in a 5-car transporter when needed. There will be occasional day trips to Hamilton / Tauranga based on demand. Ideally you will have previous trailer experience.

Class 5 role:

You'll be completing linehaul and local deliveries operating our 5-car semi-trailers. You must be available and willing to do overnighters to Wellington / Palmerston North where required.

Our successful candidates will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Current Class 2 / Class 5 drivers licence
• Rachet strapping experience
• Self motivated and able to manage your daily tasks / jobs
• Confident filling in a log book and operating an Android tablet
• Able to complete an online induction to the Ports of Auckland
• Good communication skills
• Willing to assist with workshop duties as required
• Punctual and reliable
• Great time management and organisational skills
• Able to work well in a team environment and independently

Full time opportunities with an early start between 5am - 7:30am depending on daily demands. A remuneration package will be negotiated aligned with the skills and experience you bring to the role.
