Join our dynamic team at the Air New Zealand Lounge in Wellington as a Chef De Partie. This is Permanent Full Time Position. In this role, you'll assist the Executive Chef with the management of the production kitchen, ensuring high standards of culinary excellence and operational efficiency.
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
- Follow best practice culinary standards as outlined by the Executive Chef.
- Stay up-to-date with culinary market trends and competitor movements.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to optimize overall business performance.
- Highlight opportunities to improve culinary products and services.
- Train and monitor employees on proper work procedures and production of culinary menus.
He kōrero mōu / About you:
- NZQA Level 4 Cookery Certificate or equivalent trade qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years proven work record with written references.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner.
- Experience and ability to lead and mentor staff.
- Good communication skills and a flexible approach and attitude.
