At Ngā Tamariki Pūawai o Tāmaki / Auckland Kindergarten Association (AKA), we are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education through a fully qualified teaching team. We are excited to offer an opportunity for an ECE Kaiako to join our passionate team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of tamariki in our community.
About Farm Cove Kindergarten
Located in a vibrant community next to Wakaaranga Primary School, Farm Cove Kindergarten is a place where learning is nurtured through care, respect, and creativity. Our unique environment encourages exploration, sustainability, and a love for learning through natural outdoor play, literacy, numeracy, and science integration.
We have strong connections with local schools, ensuring a smooth transition for tamariki moving on to their next learning journey.
Our dedicated team of qualified and passionate kaiako upholds the values of Te Whāriki, New Zealand's early childhood curriculum, to provide enriching learning experiences that support each child's growth and development.
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated registered and certificated ECE Kaiako with a current first aid to join our team and help us continue delivering exceptional early childhood education to our community.
What We're Looking For:
- A qualified and registered ECE Kaiako with a passion for play-based learning
- A commitment to bicultural practice and embedding te reo Māori and tikanga Māori into daily teaching
- Confidence in using ICT as a teaching tool to enhance learning experiences
- A collaborative team player who values open communication and building strong relationships with tamariki, whānau, and the local hapori
- Someone who brings fresh ideas while honouring the traditions that make Farm Cove Kindergarten special
