About the role: As Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of a distributed network of OSCAR programmes across Aotearoa. You’ll oversee the delivery of safe, engaging, and compliant services through a talented team of Regional Operations Managers and other leaders. This is a hands-on, people-centric role with big-picture impact.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of national operational strategies, aligned with business objectives
  • Coach and develop your direct reports to foster high performance, safety, and staff retention
  • Oversee programme compliance, health and safety, and quality assurance across all sites
  • Manage budgets, reporting, and resourcing to ensure financial sustainability of programmes
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders including MSD and schools


About You: You’re a seasoned operational leader who thrives in a values-led, child-centred organisation. You love leading people and driving continuous improvement in a complex, multi-site environment.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar multi-site, operational management role
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets and reporting processes
  • Track record in compliance, quality, and health & safety in a regulated setting
  • Skilled in change management and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to communicate, influence, and engage across all levels


Benefits:

  • Base salary up to $155,000
  • $10,000 motor vehicle allowance
