About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Senior Stylist to join our team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established, reputable salon with a strong client base. You will be a key member of our team, contributing your expertise and passion to deliver exceptional hairdressing services.

The role will involve

• Providing high-quality hairdressing services including cutting, colouring (including ammonia-free options), styling, and updos.
• Consulting with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services.
• Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and salon cleanliness.
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Managing your own client bookings and appointments.
• Assisting with training and mentoring junior stylists (if applicable and desired).

Skills, qualifications, and experience

• Experience as a Senior Stylist.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional hairdressing services across a range of styles and techniques.
• Excellent client communication and consultation skills.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• Current NZ qualifications in hairdressing (or equivalent).
• A passion for the hairdressing industry and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Further information
We have 2 apprentices so plenty of help on hand when needed. Hours and days are very negotiable. The position is for a contractor, so client base is necessary.
