We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Router Setter/Programmer/Operator to join our team.
The Role:
As a CNC Router Setter/Programmer/Operator, you will be responsible for the programming, setting, and operating of our two CNC nesting routers. Your main tasks will include machining plywood, ACM, and foam to the highest standards. You will work autonomously with minimal supervision, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate two CNC nesting routers.
- Machine materials such as plywood, ACM, and foam with a focus on precision and quality.
- Work independently, taking ownership of your work and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Follow production schedules and maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Ensure all machines are maintained and operated in accordance with safety protocols.
- Perform regular quality checks on products.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Solid experience in CNC routing, programming, and operating machinery.
- Strong understanding of CNC operations with the ability to work autonomously.
- Proficient in English with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with RhinoCAM software for nesting and programming (preferable but not essential).
- Current legal right to work in New Zealand.
- Forklift license (bonus but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Honest, responsible, and hardworking, with a strong work ethic.
