Job Description
What you'll do As a Senior Project Planner, your role will be crucial in managing various aspects of project planning. You will be working alongside the Project Manager looking after 5 large scale legislative workstreams. Your ability to manage critical path, dependency management, risk and issue identification, project finances, estimate and forecast accurately across multiple workstreams, manage supplier contracts and procurement processes will be vital. You also may support the business case process. * Planning critical paths across multiple project workstreams * Optimising the use of limited resources, including finances * Managing project finances, estimating and forecasting, risk and issue management, critical path planning, and dependency management * Adapting and performing effectively in uncertain delivery environments
What you bring
The ideal candidate for this Senior Project Planner role will bring a wealth of experience in project management disciplines. You will bring extensive knowledge of the machinery of government and will have worked on legislative processes in the past. If you had any prior experience supporting the construction of business cases this would also be ideal.
Robust project management skills in critical path planning, and dependency management, finances, estimating and forecasting, risk and issue management
Knowledge of government machinery and legislative processes
Quick adaptability and effectiveness in uncertain delivery environments
Strong knowledge of planning tools such as MS Project
Experience in supporting the construction of implementation business cases
To be successful in this role please note you do need to be available to work on site a minimum of 4 days per work.
