We’re seeking a Tax Consultant to join the specialist tax team, based in the Auckland CBD. It's a 'hybrid' opportunity and this is just some of the reasons why it stand out:

What You’ll Do

  • This is not your typical tax compliance role. You’ll work closely with small enterprises, applying tax, accounting, and legal concepts to craft thoughtful, practical advice for our clients. Your work will focus on advisory, not compliance, so your ability to clearly articulate complex ideas in both writing and conversation is critical.


  • You’ll be a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate challenges, uncover opportunities, and achieve their goals.


Who You Are

  • You’re solid. Really solid. You’ve spent 4+ years in a Big 4 environment or a little longer in a boutique firm, and you’ve developed a deep understanding of tax. This isn’t for someone who’s dabbled or is just starting to explore the field.


  • You hold a Law or Commerce degree (or both), and while a CA qualification isn’t essential, it’s a nice bonus. Most importantly, you’re excited about diving deep into tax advisory and becoming the go-to expert for our clients.
