The role
We are looking for someone who is energetic, who is willing to give things a go and wanting to make a change for the better. Our focus is our people, and our new Branch Manager will need people leadership experience as well as the passion to motivate and inspire.
- Oversee daily operations of the branch, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve sales and service targets.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, budgets, and financial performance.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders
This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday.
About you:
To excel in this role, you need to be a strong people leader and, whilst trade/retail industry knowledge would be great, relationship and leadership skills are what we’re looking for.
- Plumbing background will be ideal but not essential
- General business acumen is required to maximising the profitability of your branch
- Previous experience in maintaining budget alignment and actively seeking out opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs
- Developing and implementing sales and marketing plans.
- Have a collaborative management style and thrives on seeing your team grow and succeed!
- A down-to-earth and community-minded person with a focus on long-term, credible relationships
- Customer centric and solution focused attitude will pave the way to your success and success of your team and branch
- Clean, full NZ Drivers Licence
