Job Description
Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

We are seeking an Asphalt Plant Production Foreman to join our team in Auckland. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in Asphalt Production, Health and Safety, and business development to work alongside our experienced Asphalt Production Team.

This is a full-time, permanent position that will require overtime and occasionally weekend shifts.

As an Asphalt Plant Foreperson, you will have a ‘can do’ attitude and a proactive outlook combined with an ability to work within a team.

You’ll also bring:

Previous experience in Asphalt Manufacturing would be highly regarded, preferably in asphalt production.
A degree or thorough understanding in Mechanical or Electrical systems would be highly regarded.
An uncompromising focus and commitment to safety and environmental management, with experience in hazard identification and risk management.
Ability to work closely with the plant supervisor, Production Manager and regional manager, with a goal for succession planning in the future.
Strong analytical and problem – solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records
Effective verbal and written communication skills
