Waipapa Pine, part of Fletcher Wood Products, is a leading producer of high-quality sawn timber products. Due to our successful continued expansion of operations in the North, we are seeking a skilled Timber Machinist to join our fabulous team in beautiful Whangarei. If you are a skilled Timber Machinist this role could be perfect for you!

Responsibilities:

Operate timber machining equipment such as saws, planers, and moulders
Set up and adjust machines to ensure accurate cutting and shaping of timber products
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Maintain and repair machinery as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience as a timber machinist or similar role
Experience with timber machining equipment such as saws, planers, and moulders
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work independently and take initiative
