Customer Operations - Network Operations
Your role, your journey | Te Huarahi Whakatipu
The role will lead a team of Engineers, ensuring the efficient operation and enhancement of network services for our business customers. With 5+ years of experience in managing technical engineering teams, the role requires a strong knowledge of networking technologies, with a solid background in coaching, mentoring communication, and collaboration skills. ITIL certification or relevant experience is a must. You'll ensure high-quality services, foster a skilled and motivated team, and continuously improve services through new technologies and best practices.
This role would be suited for an experienced engineer who is looking to step-up into a management role, managing a team of highly skilled, customer facing engineers.

- Create a supportive environment where the team feels safe to experiment, learn, and challenge the norm.
- Ensure the team is meeting service level expectations for ticket management while also handling timesheets and leave requests.
- Help team members grow in their roles, supporting their career development, and lead post-incident reviews with internal stakeholders to ensure great outcomes for our customers.
- Manage the team's roster for our 7am-9pm operations, build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and customers, and help bring new products into our daily work.
- People management of 15+ direct reports within the North Island region, working closely with the Services Manager - South Island.
