The Company

My client is a small but highly successful surveying, planning and project management consultancy who are on the hunt for their next surveying team member!

Due to continued growth of their very solid workload, they have a requirement for a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor to join their growing team.

The salary range is $110k-$130k for a newly Licensed Surveyor and $120k-$150k for 5-10 years Licensed.

You will work in a real team environment working on a wide range of exciting residential development projects across Auckland.

The Role

  • Ensure accurate Cadastral Survey Datasets and other survey deliverables are completed on time
  • Supervise and mentor the next generation of surveying professionals
  • Undertaking various types of surveying. Eg.land transfer, topographical and land development
  • Preparing land development plans for client
  • Subdivision/LT surveys
  • Engineering Surveys
  • Topographical Surveys
  • Setout Surveys
  • Managing/Consulting on 2-20 Lot subdivisions.


About You

  • Licensed Cadastral Surveyor
  • Competent with Landonline
  • Experience in all types of surveys, including land transfer, engineering set-out and as-builts, topographic mapping
  • Experience in the New Zealand Land Transfer System
  • Knowledge of the current rules for Cadastral Surveying and associated guidelines
  • Proficiency with Magnet and/or 12D software (or similar) and modern Total Stations and GPS instruments.
  • Good communication skills;A positive attitude and ability to learn
