At Ngā Tamariki Puāwai o Tāmaki | Auckland Kindergarten Association (AKA), we are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education that fosters curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. With 107 kindergartens and four KiNZ centres across Auckland, we create enriching environments where tamariki and whānau are at the heart of everything we do.
About Westlake Forrest Hill Kindergarten
Set in a beautiful, open outdoor environment, Westlake Forrest Hill Kindergarten is a place where tamariki can explore, take risks, and build meaningful connections. Our extensive gardens and interest in sustainability provide hands-on learning experiences that nurture a deep respect for Papatūānuku and the natural world.
We embrace a child-led, play-based approach, where tamariki are encouraged to follow their interests, develop their individual strengths, and engage in rich, inquiry-based learning. Our strong whānau partnerships ensure a welcoming, inclusive space where cultures, identities, and backgrounds are celebrated.
Sustainability and the environment are core values at Westlake Forrest Hill Kindergarten. We actively encourage tamariki to learn about caring for the environment, engage in gardening, and participate in sustainable practices that foster lifelong environmental responsibility.
