He angitūtanga: The opportunity
No two days will be the same when you join our welcoming and diverse Parks and Community Facilities Leasing team; where we work to ensure the leasing of Council properties benefits the community and upholds Council policies.
As a Community Lease Coordinator, you’ll be supporting our team of Lease Specialists with the administration and leasing of Auckland Council’s property portfolio. Some of your responsibilities will include monitoring the team inbox, processing landlord approvals, supporting the delivery of the community leasing work programme by receiving lease applications, initiating public notices and tracking agreements. You’ll also create purchase orders, ensure lease data and reporting is accurate and consistent, scheduling meetings, prepare material and capture minutes.
He kōrero mōu: About you
You might be a recent graduate with an interest in business, property or administration, and ready to launch your career in a supportive public service environment. Alternatively, you might already be a business administration superstar working in a busy administration or coordination role. You will be great at multitasking, proactive at problem solving, and love streamlining operations to ensure that everything runs efficiently behind the scenes.
You have a great work ethic and are not afraid to learn and take charge on a project, and you’re meticulous when it comes to file and information management. This role will see you frequently liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders, so strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. You’ll be systems savvy, and any prior experience using SharePoint, Excel or SAP will be highly regarded. You might be required to travel around the region, so you’ll also need to hold a clean, full New Zealand driver’s license.
