As a member of ASB's Financial Crime operations team you will help protect ASB and its customers from the impact of Financial Crime. You will contribute in a meaningful way to the protection of Aotearoa New Zealand from organised crime, modern slavery, extreme right-wing groups, and other activity which places New Zealand at risk.
We are now on a hunt for multiple Quality Assurance Analyst's to join our passionate and fun-loving team. We have both permanent and 12-Month Fixed Term positions available.
Mo te tūranga | About the role:
You will be responsible for Quality Assurance reviews over a specific financial crime disciple, looking after continued monitoring and analysis of completed work processes, using a quality control framework.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing a diversified data sample, for a risk-based approach when performing QA review
- Monitoring and reporting adherence to compliance obligations and processes
- Analyse and interrogate data received from various systems, customers, and other sources
- Providing process and compliance guidance, coaching and feedback to internal stakeholders in line with ASB's policies and standards
- Providing data and insights on error trends to improve business performance
- Effectively manage your workload whilst actively looking for opportunities to improve processes.
Ō pūkenga | About you:
First and foremost, you will have a passion for delivery and an understanding of Financial Crime disciplines. This could include an in-depth knowledge of the AML/CFT, Economic and Trade Sanctions (E&TS) and or Foreign Tax (CRS/FATCA) compliance obligations, policies, and procedures.
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will have:
- Knowledge of Transaction Monitoring and Sanctions, AML & Financial Crime Compliance
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to articulate complex information into easy-to-understand advice for internal stakeholders
- Exposure to data analytics tools and Sequel with the ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks
