Join Westpac Mobile on our journey to modernise our apps and deliver an intuitive, beautiful customer experience. As a Mobile Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with the product team to understand requirements, design solutions, and oversee the entire app development lifecycle—from design to delivery, including development, quality assurance, and deployment.
Ko tō mahi | What you’ll do
- Engineering Excellence: Collaborate with our engineering teams to design and implement innovative mobile application features.
- Quality Focus: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards, ensuring top-notch application quality.
- Modernisation Advocate: Contribute to our modernisation efforts by enhancing code development, quality, and DevOps practices for mobile applications.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure our mobile applications meet rigorous testing and quality standards.
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
- 8+ years of iOS mobile development with Swift.
- Advanced proficiency in SwiftUI, UIKit; familiar with Objective-C, Java.
- Expertise in MVVM, MVP patterns.
- Comprehensive knowledge of XCTest, XCUITest.
- Extensive experience with Fastlane, Jenkins, cloud CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, accessibility.
- Advanced knowledge of retain cycles, GCD, OperationQueue.
- Experience in code reviews, mentoring junior developers.
- Proven experience in building complex systems, delivering customer-centric solutions.
