Our reputable client is a New Zealand based manufacturer of high-quality commercial equipment with a global reach in their distribution. We are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Painter Powder Coater to join their team on the afternoon shift.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coat weldments, using either paint and powder techniques and equipment
• Prepare components and weldments
• Perform required quality checks
• Participate in daily production toolbox meetings
• Participate in a culture on continuous improvement, identifying and reporting opportunities for improved safety, quality, and efficiency
• Blasting of weldments when required
• Taking ownership and responsibility, consistently producing high quality finishes

Skills Required:

• Previous painting or powder coating experience
• Excellent communication skills to engage and interact with other team members, team leaders and managers
• Experience within a production/manufacturing environment
• Experience and understanding of Lean manufacturing
• Strong team player
