Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

We have excellent opportunity to make a real difference to our Agribusiness customers! This could be the perfect opportunity for you, if you are passionate about Agri, and want to progress your career in an equally exciting and challenging role as an Agribusiness Partner (P1) based in New Plymouth.

We sat down with our Senior Partner, who let us know the following about the role:

What is the team culture and environment like?

You will be joining a supportive team of experienced Agribusiness, Commercial & Business Partners, allowing you to share knowledge, learn from others and continually grow and develop.

It is a fast-paced environment, so if you enjoy being busy and you’re self-motivated, this might be the opportunity for you!

What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?

Agribusiness in the Taranaki has a solid reputation - you'll have the opportunity to work closely with clients in dairy, drystock, poultry and other sectors - this presents real opportunity to support BNZ's existing strong presence and to grow your expertise.

What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity?

We need to find someone who is motivated by connecting customers and industry – not afraid to put themselves out there or pick up the phone to see how we can help.

They also need to be able to be seen as a “trusted advisor” and build confidence by demonstrating their ability to work effectively through requirements for customers and support them to achieve their goals.

What attributes will this person have in order to be successful?

We are looking for a self-motivated, ambitious team player who has a growth mindset and desire to contribute to a high performing team.

Ideally, you will also have a high level of commercial acumen, industry experience, and either an already established professional network or proven ability to grow a network, to help serve our customers brilliantly!

Nau Mai ki te Pēke o Aotearoa | Come to the Bank of New Zealand

This is an exciting opportunity to join us!  We're bold thinkers who are taking brave steps to create a company that people want to work for, and customers want to bank with. If you're ready to join a fun organisation where we are proud of our culture and how we are helping New Zealander's to 'Find their way', then show your interest by submitting your application - we can't wait to read it.
