Job Description
Acting as a trusted advisor and commercial business partner, you’ll be responsible for managing high-value procurement activities and delivering strategic sourcing outcomes across a diverse portfolio of goods and services, in the ICT space. This role is ideal for a commercially astute professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is looking to make a tangible impact on procurement performance and organisational value
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies, procurement pipelines, and vendor plans.
- Manage major procurement activities (contract value >$100K), including market engagement and vendor selection.
- Provide expert commercial advice and support on complex procurement matters and contract risk.
- Lead contract negotiations and establish robust supplier agreements.
- Support contract owners with supplier performance monitoring, commercial compliance, and reporting.
- Contribute to procurement policy development and uplift procurement capability across the business.
- Build strong internal and external relationships and represent the organisation in industry and government forums.
What You’ll Bring
- 5–10 years' experience in ICT procurement and commercial contract management at a senior level.
- Proven expertise in leading high-value, complex sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations.
- Sound understanding of procurement risk, financial analysis, and commercial frameworks.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and influencing skills.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Commerce, Law) and/or CIPS certification (or working towards).
- Strong private sector expereince.
