About the role | He korero whakamarama mo tenei turanga

As the Service Manager, your role is to ensure that high quality, person-centred and empowering community support services are delivered to people who need them. You are responsible for the effective and efficient day-to-day management of community mental health services and ensuring that your teams are working in partnership with the people they support to encourage and facilitate improvement of their health and wellbeing so they can thrive.

This role will require you to manage, support and work collaboratively with your team/s of Recovery Facilitators to meet the needs of people and their whānau, met contractual requirements, met relevant sector standards and uphold the organisations policies and procedures. This includes the ongoing monitoring and reporting of client outcomes and key performance indicators.

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, based in New Plymouth. You will be required to be on call every six weeks.

What you will bring | Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga

  • Tertiary level health or social services qualification or higher
  • Experience in a service delivery or operations role, preferably within the health/disability or community services sectors
  • Financial and budget management experience
  • A passion and expertise for working collaboratively and developing skills in others
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, and highly developed emotional intelligence
