About the Role
As the Practice Lead for Integration & Applications, you will lead the design, development, integration, and management of enterprise applications. You’ll oversee technology, people, and suppliers within the practice area, championing improvements, ensuring robust system delivery, and promoting high service availability. This is a leadership position focused on operational excellence, technical strategy, and people management.
This role would require you to be on site in Palmerston North two days per week.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Lead application development, support, integration, and release management across critical platforms.
- Collaborate with peers, vendors, and stakeholders to drive improvements and strategic outcomes.
- Manage and mentor teams while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Oversee service quality, incident/problem resolution, and solution architecture compliance.
- Contribute to roadmap planning, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience Required
We’re looking for a strategic, people-centred leader with deep domain expertise in applications and integration management:
- Proven experience managing complex application ecosystems and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of software development, support, and system lifecycle practices.
- Effective team leadership, mentoring, and performance management skills.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems, IT operations, and service delivery standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability.
