Mō te tūnga | About the role

Accessible Properties is New Zealand's largest non-government social and community housing provider. Joining the Senior Leadership team, you will lead the design development and execution of Asset/Portfolio Management and Delivery Plans, including minor works and projects, in alignment with Accessible Properties strategic and operational objectives. Driving compliance and performance with contractual obligations under service and third-party agreements is critical, harnessing innovation to enhance the quality and efficiency of the asset and property base to achieve financial effective solutions.

You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, advocating for Accessible Properties' mission and values at a business community and sector level, representing Accessible Properties in housing and social support forums, fostering collaboration and positive impact.



Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

  • Senior level experience managing large-scale diverse asset portfolios, ideally housing and services related, and leading national teams
  • Experience should extend to developing and delivering significant asset and portfolio plans, minor capital and project workstreams, as well maintaining best practice across the portfolio in asset and facilities management
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, project scoping, and reporting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of property, construction, asset, building regulations and legislation, with senior experience in Health and Safety and portfolio compliance
  • Commercial acumen in managing and leading large scale asset and facility supply chains, including developing procurement strategies with measurable and monitored reporting outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience leading under pressure, particularly in crisis management and within technically complex environments
  • Commitment to te ao Māori, te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, with a developed understanding of environmental property outcomes
