Job Description
Wellington Top 10 Holiday Park is a family owned and operated tourism business located in Seaview, Lower Hutt. We offer a peaceful retreat and spacious grounds for families, couples, business guests, and all sized groups.
We have an exciting opportunity available for an individual with a passion for customer service to join our team. If you are friendly, motivated, computer savvy and have an interest in tourism you will enjoy this role!
This position is on a fortnightly roster
Week 1 : Monday/Tuesday and Saturday/Sunday. The shifts would be 11.30 am - 8pm.
Week 2 : Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday. The shifts would be 11.30 am - 8pm.
Main duties of this role are:
Check ins and check outs
Processing of bookings
Group quotes & bookings
Email enquiries
Phone enquiries
Assisting with Laundry
Booking guest requirements such as: Ferry, Wellington attractions, public transport, tours, and other TOP 10 Parks
Maintaining the cleaning of the office
Money handling
Processing of payments
Serving of shop customers
Ordering stock if required
General office / reception duties
Application will be required to have the following skills:
Exceptional customer service
Ability to multi-task, show good initiative, and a calm demeanor under pressure
An outgoing positive personality with strong decision making skills
Excellent oral & written communication skills
Have an eye for detail and high standard of professionalism
Excellent computer skills (MS Office), knowledge with 'Newbook' but not essential. Training will be provided.
Have a good reliable work ethic 'can-do' attitude and the ability to self manage
Willingness to learn and train other staff members if required
Accommodation / tourism industry experience preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
Requirements:

Applicants must have NZ residency or hold a valid NZ work visa
Consent to a police check if required
Must live local at time of application/Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
