The Company:
My client is a very successful, long-standing company that offers installations, repairs and servicing for Dental Equipment. They provide their services to Clinics all across New Zealand nationwide. With 50 years in the business, they have a lot of knowledge and experience, and they are currently enjoying a period of growth.

They are seeking to appoint two Service Technicians to join their Auckland based branch.

Position One: An experienced, EST qualified, Service Technician to be responsible for installing, commissioning, repairing and servicing Dental equipment, including dental chairs, sterilisation equipment, disinfectors, compressors, suction units, Xray equipment, etc).

Position Two: This role could suit someone who has experience as a Commercial Coffee Machine Technician and is looking to change industries. It is an easy transition from working on coffee machinery, to some of the dental machinery, so if you are keen to make a change in industry, this could be a great role for you.

Whether you could suit position one or two above, you could carve out a really great career in the dental / medical industry.

The successful person will:

• Perform dental equipment repair activities and installations at customer sites
• Perform preventative maintenance work
• Diagnostic and fault-finding work, both on phone & onsite
• Configure, maintain & troubleshoot interfaces between electromechanical devices
• Upskill across all the company's products
• Some occasional regional travel will be involved

The successful candidate will:

• Service Technician experience in the dental equipment industry is desired
• Come for a comparable industry & be keen to retrain & change industries
• Other industries considered - Commercial Appliances, (Dishwashers etc) Commercial Coffee Machines, Photocopier machinery, Electrician, etc
• Able to perform hydraulics, mechanical, pneumatics and electrical work.
• Have advanced fault finding, problem solving & diagnostic skills.
• Carry a full Driver's License
• Strong time management & prioritising skills
• Excellent communication and ability to work within a team
• Strive to provide the best possible service to ensure long term client relationships.
• Preference will go to those who have their EST or EAS qualifications.
