Geneva Healthcare, a trusted leader in healthcare services for over 16 years, is seeking a passionate and driven Individualised Funding Coach to join our Deaf and Disability Support Services division. This role is your chance to make a meaningful impact by helping clients and families design and manage support services tailored to their unique needs.
About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
As an Individualised Funding Coach, you’ll work alongside clients across the country to support their journey toward independence and quality care. Key responsibilities include:
- Personalised Budgeting: Helping clients set up and manage individualised funding budgets.
- Empowering Clients: Guiding clients to make informed decisions about their care and providing practical advice on recruitment, payroll, and compliance.
- Problem Solving: Supporting clients to navigate social, emotional, and financial challenges.
- Building Networks: Establishing connections with government and community groups to enhance available resources.
- Continuous Improvement: Providing feedback and recommendations to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga
- 3+ years of experience in the health and disability sector.
- Knowledge of the Enabling Good Lives approach.
- Strong budgeting and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent time management and autonomy in your work.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clients and whānau to deliver tailored services.
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to cultural sensitivity.
- Full NZ Driver’s License.
Preferred:
- Experience working with people with disabilities or diverse needs.
