He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for multiple amazing Full Time Catering Supervisors to join our team at Victoria University of Wellington. The ideal candidates will have a flexible attitude and be prepared to work shift work as sites operate 7 days per week. This role is a permanent full time role with a minimum of 30 hours per week during the tertiary education terms.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

This key role within the lounge is responsible for;

• Ensuring our food, beverage and customer service is outstanding for our valued customers.
• Leading and participating in a team that goes above and beyond for our valued clientele and ensures we obtain the high levels of service standards expected at all times.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

If you're our ideal candidate, you will:

• Be hard working, reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have a natural knack for leading a diverse team, and understanding labour budgets
• Have proven experience within a 5-star/FOH environment and leading a team
• Have excellent communication skills and a friendly, 'can do' attitude
• Have experience with food preparation and adequate knowledge of beverages
• A Duty Managers certificate is not essential however it would be beneficial along with Host Responsibility knowledge
