We're on the lookout for a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team at Walter Peak's Colonel's Homestead. This is a unique opportunity to care for beautiful gardens and grounds while delivering exceptional experiences for our guests.
You'll be responsible for ensuring the gardens, grounds, and gardening equipment at the Colonel's Homestead are always maintained to the highest standard. Your attention to detail will keep the gardens both healthy and aesthetically stunning, enhancing the guest experience. In addition to your horticultural work, you'll play a key role in hosting our visitors, ensuring they feel welcome and well looked after during their time at Walter Peak.
What You'll Bring
- Horticulture knowledge and hands-on experience.
- An understanding of native and exotic plants.
- Spraying and pesticide knowledge.
- Strong communication skills to engage with customers and team members.
- It's a bonus if you have a relevant horticultural qualification, landscaping experience, hosting or customer service skills, and previous experience working in a large-scale garden.
