West City Auto Group represents six brands across four locations in West and North West Auckland. As a family-owned and operated business, we've proudly served the West Auckland community for over 30 years.

We are seeking an experienced Financial Administrator to play a key role in our accounting operations.

In this role, you will manage financial processes and support daily office activities, acting as a crucial liaison between the accounts team and other departments to ensure seamless operations. You will oversee key functions, serve as the main point of contact for the management team, and provide vital assistance to the General Manager with important reporting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Lead and manage the accounts team, resolving issues and addressing queries as they arise.
  • Manage the month-end closing process and ensure timely, accurate preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Submit monthly financial reports to Partner Brands by their required deadlines.
  • Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Process GST and FBT returns.
  • Maintain payroll and HR responsibilities.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for our external accountants.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a commercial business environment, with a strong understanding of business operations.
  • Experience working with multiple departments and Partner Brands.
  • Proven ability to process high volumes of monthly transactions.
  • Proficiency with top-tier accounting software.
  • Previous payroll and HR experience, including knowledge of related regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
