Job Description

We’re seeking a talented Digital Account Manager to join our small but growing team at Aligned Media. This is a remote contracting role, based on approximately 20 hours per week for a fixed term period initially of 3 months with the potential to extend. This role offers the unique opportunity to manage your workload and schedule on you own terms as long as you consistently deliver exceptional results and meet agreed-upon deadlines.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and executing digital marketing strategies to achieve our clients objectives.
• Hands on implementation to manage the end-to-end delivery of our clients digital advertising campaigns, including search engine optimisation, paid search, GDN, PMax, YouTube and Meta, ensuring projects delivered on time and within budget.
• Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to clients.
• Collaborate with our clients and other marketing specialists they work with where required to ensure seamless integration overall of their marketing initiatives.
• Identify new opportunities to expand Aligned Medias digital service offerings and drive business growth – particularly in the AI space.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients and Aligned Media team as we grow, fostering trust and delivering exceptional service


What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Digital Account Manager or similar role within a media buying or digital marketing agency environment.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns across a range of channels, including SEO, PPC, GDN, PMax, YouTube, Meta. If you are also proficient in Linkedin, Pinterest, TikTok and programmatic buying that would be a bonus!
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategic decision-making and provide actionable insights.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines autonomously given this is a fully remote role.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the square for clients that don’t have endless resources and big budgets to work with
• A deep understanding of digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, particularly in the AI space.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, digital media, or a related field
• A high level of self-discipline and the ability to work independently and deliver to a high standard within agreed deadlines.
• Experience in working with a number of different platforms (i.e. Wordpress, Shopify & Rocketspark) and setting up tracking and conversion tags via GTM is preferred. If you have experience with setting up server-side tracking this will also give you an edge.
