Loader Operator

We are currently seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a loader to efficiently manage stockpile materials and load trucks. The role involves precise operation of the loader to transfer materials from stockpiles to trucks safely and efficiently throughout the site. Essential qualifications include a current WTR license, along with demonstrated experience operating machinery of this size.

Operating the loader requires excellent machine control, spatial awareness, and the ability to communicate effectively with truck drivers and ground crew. You must demonstrate a strong focus on site safety protocols, including managing exclusion zones and maintaining clear communication with site personnel. The position includes performing pre-start checks, maintaining daily records, and operating the loader in accordance with project specifications and safety guidelines.
Experience required:

Proven experience operating loaders
Current WTR license
Valid Site Safe certification beneficial
Demonstrated ability to load trucks efficiently and safely
Strong understanding of workplace safety and exclusion zones
Excellent communication skills
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work extended hours when required
Physical fitness for machine operation
