Job Description
Join one of Auckland's most well established law firms with offices both in the heart of the CBD and Takapuna. There is a junior role within the Property and Trusts team. This role affords the successful candidate great mentorship, career growth and the ability to work on a diverse range of property and trust matters. You will be apart of a tight knit team, working directly with clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Private client property and residential conveyancing;
- Drafting of key trust and estate documents such as Wills, EPAs, Trust Deeds, etc;
- Facilitate commercial real estate transactions, encompassing sales, purchases, leases and financing agreements
- Conduct due diligence investigations to identify potential legal issues or risks associated with commercial properties;
- Draft and negotiate contracts, including sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements, and financing agreements.
To be successful in the role you should have:
- 3 + PQE in Property and Trusts law however all candidates will be assessed on merit;
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills;
- Detail-oriented with a high level of analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Enthusiastic, team-oriented, and a strong work ethic.
