About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team in a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate can work with either the 2-3-year-olds or preschool group and will have a strong understanding of how to engage with children and foster their growth.

Key skills include knowledge of Te Whāriki, learning story writing, and effective supervision. Team culture is highly valued here, so we are looking for someone who can easily gel with the team and contribute positively to our collaborative environment. While experience in an ECE center is not essential, we are open to new graduates who are enthusiastic and ready to grow in their teaching journey.

We are looking for the following:

  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
  • Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
  • Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
