- We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our trusted delivery team and play a crucial role in supporting varied and challenging projects.

Mō te tūnga | About the role
The role is part of our Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) team, which is trusted to deliver the Investment Portfolio of programmes and projects for Oranga Tamariki.
To be successful in this role, you will be a positive individual who has a solution focussed attitude and can work both individually and as part of a team. You're able to take initiative and ownership of key project activities.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Build and manage effective relationships with key external and internal stakeholders as a trusted partner.
- Advocate and contribute to the capability uplift of our project coordination professionals
- Champion best practice in managing the flow of information and planning of projects
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
Key requirements of the role include:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Project Coordination. Experience working in operational change projects would be valuable.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and MS Project or other project management software.
- Experience in maintaining project plans, control books and finances across multiple projects
- Success in engaging and influencing stakeholders across multiple teams / agencies
- Sound understanding of risk management and assurance controls and associated project reporting
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Able to produce clear, concise and fit-for-purpose project documentation.
- Resilience and flexibility to work in an environment where context and priorities may shift quickly
