Join our dynamic team at the Air New Zealand Lounge in Tauranga as a Catering Assistant. This is a Permanent Part Time Position. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality food and beverage service, ensuring our customers have a memorable and relaxing experience.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive and friendly food and beverage service to customers.
  • Set up, clean, and maintain lounge areas, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Prepare and serve beverages, including espresso coffee, responsibly.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a high level of service.

  • Be hard working, reliable and flexible in your ability to work
  • Having a friendly, outgoing personality
  • Have excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Have experience working in a similar position within a 5-star environment
  • Hold food safety Unit Standards 167 and 168
  • Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate a passion for people, customer service and quality
