  • Provide environment planning and oversight to inform CCS-PDD change delivery planning and risk management.
  • 1 Year Fixed Term – can be based in Wellington, Upper Hutt or Christchurch locations.

CCS PD&D teams play a key role in planning for, prioritising, designing, scheduling, and implementing changes to systems and related business processes which IR and our customers rely on every day. The changes these teams will be collectively managing may come from policy, legislative (including remedial), technical advice, or procedural adjustments or via updates to functionality by our external suppliers and partners.

The CCS PD&D Support Office supports delivery planning and quality assurance of CCS PD&D initiatives and Releases, across all delivery phases from design to Early Life Support.

Mō te tūnga | About the role
In this role you will:

  • Work with FAST Enterprises and Inland Revenue Enterprise Services to plan for, track and monitor all environmental requirements relating to CCS PD&D changes.
  • Identify, impact assess and track, technical and business impacts to CCS of changes deployed by delivery teams outside CCS.
  • Support CCS PD&D changes through the Enterprise Services change and release process.
  • Development schedules review.
  • Identify emerging trends and provide thought leadership to support the development of innovative solutions and improve customer experience.
  • Act as a point of escalation or assistance for complex issues to support risk management, integrity of advice and capability uplift.

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • Good understanding of technology change management processes and governance.
  • Experience with providing analysis and advice for complex technology changes, particularly focussed on technology environment management.
  • Understanding of the development approach of FAST Enterprises.
  • Be a quick and curious learner, with the ability to challenge the status quo to achieve efficiencies and reduce delivery risk
