The Company
National company working at the cutting edge of environmental management in New Zealand, providing specialist advice on complex planning and resource management issues including large-scale, nationally significant projects.
The Role
You’ll hit the ground running on some exciting projects where you can broaden your experience and work with some of New Zealand’s leading resource management professionals on high profile projects . Their team currently work across the aquaculture, rural, mining, energy and industrial sectors.
You will be helping their clients solve their challenges and achieve their goals by delivering strategic and innovative solutions, showcasing your talents and your understanding of their needs.
About You
They are looking for outstanding individuals with ambition, who possess a strong desire for delivery of quality client solutions, possess a strong technical foundation and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- You will have a planning or environmental science related degree and must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Solid understanding of the principles of resource management planning and / or environmental science.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a resource management planning / environmental science related field.
- A varied background in the types of projects you have under your belt.
- Quality focused.
- Results driven.
- Ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders including business, iwi, District and Regional
- Councils and Central Government.
- An ability to communicate complex issues in a simple accessible manner.
- Excellent analysis and report writing skills and a meticulous eye for detail
